We have changed the start order for 2012 to:

9:30 AM: 8-Dog

10:30 AM: 6-Dog Sled and 2-Dog Skijor

11:30 AM: 4-Dog Sled and 1-Dog Skijor

2 PM: Shelter Dog Shuffle (Saturday only)

Now in it's 6th year, this event revived a traditional race site from the seventies and early eighties - the Mt Massive Golf Course, just 3 miles west of Leadville. It is a flat & fast course that is unique in Colorado with it's dual starts, awesome views, and festive atmosphere. The Mush is part of Leadville's Crystal Carnival, famous for it's cowboy-style horse skijoring in the afternoon after the dog races, and lots of other fun events. Join us in wrapping up the race season with another great race in Leadville.
