Grand County Sled Dog Classic

February 19 & 20, 2011, Granby, Colorado

Sponsored by: The Linke Family, the Town of Granby, and Mountain Parks Electric

Our Granby race is the oldest surviving tradition in Colorado sprint mushing, now in it's 32nd year! The course is just south of Granby on the beautiful Linke family ranch, right in the center of the valley. Wide open, with small rolling hills and not a single tree, it is a really fun course and a great place to spend the weekend. This race will have all the classes going out separately, in a more traditional leisurely style than some of our newer events. Expect a smaller purse, but a great trail and some awesome chile lunches courtesy of Carlos and Maria's in Winter Park.

DIRECTIONS: 1 mile south of Granby, directly behind City Market. Racing starts at 9 AM and runs till early afternoon, Saturday and Sunday. Spectators are always welcome!
